Leadership

I help build and lead great teams.

I’ve helped lead human rights, movement-building, education, and health groups, among others.

I can grow, scale, or rebuild organizations. I love matching great programs with great talent and infrastructure.

Trained as a diplomat, I have changed policy and practice in some of the world’s toughest places, like Iraq. I’ve represented victims, governments, and global movements at the United Nations, European Union, United States Congress, and elsewhere.

Social Impact

I’m an expert human rights researcher and activist. I’ve researched and advocated for more than a decade on topics related to armed conflict, sexual violence, gender, freedom of speech, and transitional justice.

I have great media skills (New York Times, USA Today, and others), and have published widely.

I have worked for Human Rights Watch, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, the International Center for Transitional Justice, and others.

I have built high impact program partnerships, introduced impact measurement strategies, and am an experienced leader.

I work with others to do hard stuff.

Tech

I have shipped product, recruited and managed developers and content cycles, built online communities, and won a Webby, among other awards, for my online campaigning.

I have worked on a leading literacy app that has been featured in publications like the New York Times, Forbes and TechCrunch.

I am a digital native, an angel investor, and now work at a major tech company.

I solve problems.
I shine light.

I am a skilled human rights activist, policy expert, and leader. I have worked on four continents and currently call the San Francisco Bay Area home.
